Miami’s 2026-27 goalie trio is set.

Russian-born Calgary Flames draft pick Yegor Yegorov has committed to the RedHawks for the upcoming season.

Yegorov was selected by Calgary in the sixth round, 176th overall in 2023. Since being drafted he has remained in Russia, playing predominantly in the MHL, a high-end juniors league.

Last season, Yegorov finished with a .918 save percentage and a 2.97 goals-against average and one shutout in 38 games with Moscow-based Spartak.

The 6-foot-3, 192-pounder posted save percentages of .915, .917 and .904 in his previous three seasons in that league.

Matteo Drobac and Benji Motew also return for Miami in net.

Drobac started all but one game for the RedHawks last season, going 17-16-2 with a 2.69 GAA and a .913 save percentage. His 17 wins were the most by a Miami goalie since Jay Williams‘ 19 victories in 2014-15.

Mathis Langevin, a freshman last season who went 1-0 for the RedHawks in 2025-26, transferred to Augustana in April, leaving Miami with a roster vacancy.
