Several Miami players entered the NCAA’s transfer portal on opening day, and one RedHawk has already found a new home.

Defenseman Michael Quinn, forwards Casper Nassen and Justin Stupka and goalie Mathis Langevin are all listed on Brad Schlossman’s portal page.

Defenseman Charlie Michaud is also in the portal, although he left Miami mid-season and returned to juniors.

Under new NCAA rules, the transfer portal will remain open through April 28.

Quinn and Nassen both played all 36 games for the RedHawks in 2025-26, and Stupka dressed for 31.

Langevin joined the team mid-season and was between the pipes for one contest.

Quinn, a sophomore, went 4-15-19 with a plus-10 rating this season. He did not miss a game in two campaigns at Miami, scoring six goals and dishing for 25 assists for 31 points.

Quinn has already committed to play for Notre Dame in 2026-27.

Nassen, also a sophomore and a Boston Bruins draft pick, finished the season 6-12-18 and notched 12 goals and 18 assists in his two seasons as a RedHawk, also dressing for all 70 of MU’s contests.

Stupka tallied three goals and five helpers in 31 games as a freshman this season.

Langevin came to Miami from the CHL in December under a transfer loophole and went 1-0, beating Ferris State in the third-place game of the GLI, ending the season with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage.

Michaud dressed six times early in the season and finished 2025-26 in the BCHL.

With six graduates plus Monday’s departures, Miami’s roster currently sits at 17 players — 11 forwards, four defensemen and two goalies.
