Three-year starting goalie Ludvig Persson is the latest Miami player to enter the transfer portal, according to the Grand Forks Herald.

The junior has played in 82 of the RedHawks’ 97 games since 2020-21, and his .899 save percentage ranks 10th on the team’s all-time leaderboard.
Persson has logged 4,611 career minutes and finishes his Miami career with a 3.57 goals-against average, 19 wins and five shutouts, tied with Dan Kodatsky for the eighth-most blankings in RedHawks history.
Persson joins five Miami skaters that have parted ways with the RedHawks in the past two days: Fs Red Savage, Joey Cassetti, Michael Holland and Chase Pletzke and D Alex Murray.
His departure leaves the team with two goalies: Senior Logan Neaton and graduate senior Carter McPhail, who both still have a year of eligibility remaining due to COVID.
Latvian Bruno Bruveris is committed to join the RedHawks next season. He has an .891 save percentage for USHL Cedar Rapids.
