Eight days after Anthony Noreen was hired by Miami, he will make his first Oxford public appearance at Goggin Ice Center on Tuesday for an introductory press conference.

The event will take place at 1 p.m. in the rink’s club lounge. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
Noreen, who was hired April 1, is the seventh coach in RedHawks hockey history. He is also continuing his role as head coach of the USHL Tri-City Storm — who have clinched a playoff berth — through the end of their season.
The RedHawks won just 35 games in five years and finished 1-21-2 in NCHC play this season under former head coach Chris Bergeron, who was let go last month.
