Over half of Miami’s transfer portal entries have found new homes.

Juniors defenseman Zane Demsey and forward Frankie Carogioiello are the latest former RedHawks to sign with different programs.
Demsey is headed to Northern Michigan — where his older brother graduated — for his senior year. He played 79 games in three seasons at Miami, registering two goals and eight assists.
Last season, Demsey finished 1-2-3 in 28 games. He played in at least 25 games all three of his collegiate seasons with MU.
Carogioiello, who will play for St. Lawrence, went 3-5-8 in 58 career games during his three-season RedHawks career.
Injuries limited him to four games his sophomore season.

Carogioiello scored once and picked up an assist in 32 games in 2024-25.
Of the 11 Miamians that hit the portal this spring, six have found landing spots. Ethan Dahlmeir, Johnny Waldron, Max Dukovac and Rihards Simanovics have also signed with different schools.
Forwards Raimonds Vitolins, Tanyon Bajzer, Teodor Forssander and goalie Bruno Bruveris remain in the portal.
Artur Turansky will head to Slovakia to play professionally for Spasska Nova Ves.
The transfer portal officially closed to new entries on Tuesday.
