Miami has added another Canadian Hockey League skater for 2025-26.

Ethan Hay became the third CHL player to officially sign with Miami for the upcoming season and the second from the Ontario Hockey League.
The CHL consists of the OHL, the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League and the Western Hockey League. This is the first off-season in which CHL players are eligible to sign with NCAA teams.
Hay, a Tampa Bay seventh-round draft pick, went 13-18-31 in 62 games this season between Saginaw and Kingston. He was team captain for the Memorial Cup-champion Spirit in 2023-24.
In four OHL seasons, the 6-feet, 1-inch forward racked up 50 goals and 52 assists and was named to the all-league academic team.
Forward Kocha Delic will also join the RedHawks after spending four seasons with OHL Sudbury. Defenseman Ryder Thompson signed from WHL Portland.
