Rihards Simanovics will continue to play hockey in Ohio while Ethan Dahlmeir will continue his collegiate career in his home state.

Both entered the portal after it opened on March 30 and committed to new programs on Monday.
Simanovics, a Latvian sophomore defenseman, has signed with Bowling Green.
He played 63 games with the RedHawks the past two seasons, recording a goal and 11 assists.
In 2024-25 he went 1-3-4 in 34 contests.
Dahlmeir, a Lakeville, Minn., native who was a freshman in 2024-25, signed with Minnesota-Duluth.
He logged 14 games in net in 2024-25, going 1-10-1 with an .870 save percentage and 4.04 goals-against average.

The duo become the second and third former Miamians to find new landing spots through the portal. Johnny Waldron is headed to Arizona State for his senior season.
Eight RedHawks remain in the portal, and only nine of their 29 players from 2024-25 remain on their roster.
