Colorado College ran off eight straight wins to open 2024-25, but the Tigers are just 4-8 since the calendar flipped to December.

CC has split its last four series, including last weekend at North Dakota.

The Tigers are 19-1-1 in their last 21 meetings with Miami, and the RedHawks have never beaten Colorado College on the road in the Robson era.

NOTES: Shutting down opponents has been Colorado College’s key struggle since New Year’s.

In 12 games over the past six weeks, the Tigers have allowed 43 goals — an average of 3.58 — surrendering three or more tallies 10 times.

Junior goalie Kaiden Mbereko has a 2.50 goals-against average and .905 save percentage while logging 85 percent of Colorado College’s minutes between the pipes.

Two of the Tigers’ top points producers are from the defense corps.

Boston University grad senior Ty Gallagher and sophomore Max Burkholder — Colorado College’s TOI leaders — boast identical 6-15-21 lines in 28 games.

Up front, Noah Laba leads the Tigers in goals (8) and points (22), giving the junior 81 points in his first three seasons.

Pittsburgh fourth-round pick freshman Owen Beckner is second in CC forward points, going 5-14-19.

Gleb Veremyev has eight markers, and sophomore Klavs Veinbergs and Drew Montgomery have netted seven goals apiece on a Tigers team that is both scoring and allowing 2.75 tallies per game.

Colorado College is 55th on the power play (14.8 percent) and is one of only five NCAA schools without a shorthanded goal (Miami leads Division I with seven SHGs against).

Miami is winless in its last 32 NCHC contests (0-31-1) and is riding a program-long 18-game losing streak.
