Barbolini signed a two-year AHL contract starting in 2024-25 to play for the Toronto Marlies, and he will skate with the team on a pro tryout deal for the balance of this season.

In 125 games over the past four seasons, Barbolini has scored 36 goals and dished for 50 assists, tying P.J. Fletcher for the team lead in markers in 2023-24 (11) and leading the RedHawks each of the previous two campaigns.

He also finished with 16 career power play goals.

Speaking of Fletcher, he is joining ECHL Florida. Fletcher scored 24 goals and notched 38 assists in three seasons after transferring from Quinnipiac, playing in all 108 games.

His 11-12-23 line this season tied him with Barbolini for the team lead in goals, and he finished second in points.

Captain Jack Clement inked a deal in the same league with the Cincinnati Cyclones, with whom he has already dressed for two games.

Clement tied Pat Cannone for the second-most games played in a Miami sweater, although he was granted a fifth season due to COVID.

He finished his RedHawks career with 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points in 166 games.

Former Miami forward Justin Vaive is Cincinnati’s captain.
